The required Italian National Health Insurance for emergency care is also included. You must, however, show proof of personal health insurance for your semester in Italy.
The above costs are payable to TCU. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due following admission to the program. Tuition and the program fee for the Florence program are payable to TCU, as if students are in residence at the Ft. Worth campus. In addition to tuition and the program fee, an estimated list of expenses follows:

***If you intend to travel extensively outside of Florence, you will want to take that into account when budgeting for your semester abroad.
Budgets for study in Florence are highly variable. In any case, Florence is an expensive city, and exchange rates are variable. Please budget accordingly for daily expenses.

WITHDRAWALS AND REFUND POLICY
If you decide to withdraw from a program, you must notify in writing CIS (studyabroad@tcu.edu).
Program fee refunds will be determined by recoverable costs to TCU. Withdrawal after the program start date will most likely result in the loss of the entire program fee.
- A student who chooses to withdraw from a semester abroad program administered by TCU will also be subject to the official policies of TCU for withdrawal from the university. (See TCU Undergraduate Catalog: http://catalog.tcu.edu/undergraduate/, Bachelor’s Degree, Definitions and Regulations.)
- If you decide to withdraw from the program, you must notify in writing the Center for Intl. Studies (studyabroad@tcu.edu).
- The non-refundable $500.00 deposit will forfeited for any student-initiated withdrawal.

- Any housing damages incurred in Florence will be charged to your TCU account.
